One of the core principles of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan is to empower and promote the female students herein so that they flourish in all the arenas of life. With the very same motive, this year, the International Women's Day was celebrated in the esteemed presence of Ms. Rekha Adhwaryu and Ms. Rita Modi from UTKARSH, a campaign run for awareness for female hygiene and education. Ms. Rekha explained interactively the importance of the menstrual cycle and the hormonal changes thereafter in the life of a girl with a beautiful and insightful story of Mugdha. Furthermore, she demonstrated the use of the environmentally friendly - sanitary pad disposal machine. She gave a very important message to the students of Vidyamandir to live a courageous life overcoming the challenges that women face in their daily lives.
