‘Classic Musicals’
The week of 13th Dec- 17th December 2021, saw the celebration of the English festival. The aim of this festival was to polish the English Language skills of students. To achieve this aim, fun-filled activities were organized. The activities included enhancing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. English Week was an opportunity for the students to realise their true potential of achieving fluency in the English language.
Students were shown classic musical shows such as ‘Alice in the Wonderland, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan.
The activities included reading comprehension, creating a character booklet, making a storyboard, enacting the musical. From books to stage, knowledge to expression, from reel to real, the event had it all.
English week was concluded with a ‘Special Assembly’ wherein the students were felicitated for their active participation in all the activities.
The excitement shown by the students participating in various activities was the best reward for the teachers.
