Gujarat Science City, Ahmadabad hosted Science Carnival from 28 Feb to 1 March. It included fun activities, workshops, talks of eminent scientists and exhibition domes depicting bubble chemistry, hydraulics, aviation, telescope, stem activities, health care alternatives, etc.
Students from grade 6 to 11 visited in three batches in three days to enjoy, observe and inculcate the basic principles of science with fun. The students enjoyed hands on session on making rockets, observing drones, robotic aviation, squat counting, bubble painting, calligraphy, fun with mathematics, chemistry experiments, origami, etc. The students were actively involved in talks on emerging scientific concepts like periodic table, gravitational waves-LIGO, etc The students had a tour through science city in spare time. They enjoyed 3D movie at IMAX theater, shows in Hall of space and science, exhibits at Planet Earth, Energy park, Auda Park, ice cream in the restaurant, etc.
