Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan, conducted English festival for students from 4th Feb till 9th Feb'2019. The annual fest is being organized to promote proper learning of the English language and to introduce modern techniques in language teaching. This year, we focused on the Reading and Listening aspect of the language through various interesting and collaborative activities.
English festival was celebrated across all the classes and all the students were involved in various activities such as theme-based poster making, skit, comprehending various videos and speeches in English, activities related to newspapers, Origami etc. The most divine part of these activities was when the students were shown the videos of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, Ghanshyam Chaitra and motivational speech in English by Brahamvihari Swami.
On Saturday, a special assembly was conducted by students. This focused on how the language of English is woven in our daily lives and how can we improve our lives with the help of English. All the students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed it. It was followed by a speech by our respected Director, Dr. Neeta Shah, who emphasized on the importance of English language in various areas.
