In today’s technological world, where people pay thousands of dollars to learn technical courses such as 3D printing, students of SVM Randesan are scheduled with classes of 3D printing as the school believes that students should be exposed to the required technology for their future.
On 16th November 2019, a seminar was held especially for students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan by Mr. Yogi Gandhi and his team under the aegis of 3D Systems Certification Center, USA. Students from std 6 to 11 enthusiastically participated and have learned the use of 3D printing. Students made their 3D objects with their 3D idea.
As of now, 109 students from standard 6 to 11 are undergoing training comprising of 15 sessions of 3 hours each. At the end of the program, the students will have knowledge of 3D printing, its technology, material, manufacturing process, software and its coding as well as final product finishing.
Such a program is rarely undertaken at a school level and we are proud that students of our school are provided exposure to this technology.
