Celebrating Womanhood...
BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan celebrated Women Empowerment Week from 2nd August to 10th August’18. It was all organized for increasing motivation and confidence of female students as well as the staff members. It aimed at imparting the values like empowerment and equality which bestowed the sense of appreciation and respect to the entire female fraternity.
It started with the visit of Mr. Amrutbhai Patel (GFS, Dy. Director - R & D) who visited our school on 2nd August. It was quite interesting and motivating for all the girls. He talked about all the social evils related to women which existed and how it was abolished. He also discussed the roles of different women revolutionaries who revolted against the injustice to them.
Dr. Upasana Patel, who herself reflects immense strength; neurologist by profession visited us on 8th August. She encouraged all the girls to believe in themselves to pursue their goals. Being an all-rounder she discussed the importance of good health and at the same time hardwork.
Lastly, it was the visit by Dr. Yogi Gandhi( 3D Printing Company in SJ - USA )and Mr. Vipul Budhadev who is chief coordinator of BAPS Women’s Wing of America. He has given an immense strength to BAPS Women’s Wing.
Dr. Yogi Gandhi threw light on 3D printing, in which how a material is joined or solidified under computer control to create three-dimensional objects. He also highlighted the benefits of 3D printing as it is very cost effective. He also guided the students who want to pursue their career in 3D printing.
The celebration was indeed a great initiative to confer love and gratitude for girls and staff members.
