Bhagwan Swaminarayan, the torchbearer of socio-spiritual revolution in 18th Century in India, who influenced millions of souls and is still influencing in the manifest form H.D.H Mahant Swami Maharaj, is the driving force behind several institutions like Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan.
A grand janmajayanti of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan, which coincides with janmajayanti of Bhagwan / Lord Ramchandra on the auspicious day of Chaitra Sud Nom was celebrated this year on 25th November 2018 on our campus.
A 5 days long 'Shree Hari Parva' concluded with grand celebration on 25th November. During Shre Hari Parva, students of Std 9, freshly after completion of their exams, prepared and presented various inspiring incidents from the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan that is relevant to the life of teens today. The program was commenced by Dhun, prayer and Stuti mantras followed by a melodious Kirtan Aradhna which filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm.
This was followed by spiritual discourses glorifying the wonders and miracles of Lord Swaminarayan. A series of wonderful dance performances as well as ‘one role plays’ followed which described the student's love towards Maharaj and Swami.
Observance of Nirjala Upwas up to 7 pm did not hamper their spirits and all the students participated in Hari Janmotsav Aarti at 10:10 pm.
