The government of India in collaboration with WHO has initiated a drive to wipe out Rubella and Ori disease from the country. In the Gujarat chapter of the same endeavor, the Government had initiated a drive to vaccinate all the kids aged 9 to 16 who haven’t been vaccinated previously.
SVM Randesan participated in Statewide Vaccination drive for Rubella on 27th July, 2018 where 505 students were given vaccine under supervision. Dr. Binal Mandanka (I/C IMO, ESIS Ahmedabad) was present during the entire drive and observed students. Her presence was a calming effect for all during the drive. Also, the in-house nurse, Sushilaben, and the staff were present to assist the drive and its smooth completion.
There were no cases of any problems or complications due to this vaccine and the drive has been successfully completed.
