Ashadh Sud 2 is Rath Yatra day. "Rath" means chariot. "Yatra" means parade or procession. On this day, the murti of the deity is installed in a gorgeously decorated chariot and drawn by jubilant devotees through the open streets, so that people can have darshan. With this spirit, the Rathyatra was celebrated at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan on 14th July 2018, Saturday.
Sanctified murtis were placed in a decorated platform and students led the “Rath” symbolically around the prayer hall along with members of Yuvati Talim Kendra.
Rathyatra concluded in Aarti and Bhakti Sandhya where students and Yuvatis sang bhajans and truly celebrated the day with love and devotion.
Also on this day the students who had strived and kept their rooms neat and clean were awarded the Best room trophy for June 2018.
