A seed, A sapling, A plant and ultimately a tree can act as a bottle of natural oxygen for us. Imagine if our surrounding World is filled with such bottles!
To celebrate our environment and create awareness for its protection, BAPS SVM Randesan celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th June 2018, dedicated with love to mother Earth.
The day was commenced by planting saplings in presence of Dr. P. Vaghasiya Saheb (Director, Horticulture Department, Gujarat) and Sh. B. S. Desai Saheb. A special assembly was held for this occassion where the students participated to create awareness regarding the theme of this year's Environment Day "Beat the Pastic Waste".
The students made paper out of waste paper, followed by some interesting facts about the global environment. The students of Std. 5th recited a wonderful poem ‘Earth is my home’ dedicated to inspiring the students to take their first steps to create awareness and conserve the environment.
Our Guest of the day was Dr. Parshottam M. Vaghasiya also talked about various agriculture and horticulture Techniques and thus motivated them to save the natural resources.
Special programmes during the following week were carried out as part of Environment Week. The purpose was to have students participate and better understand the environement.
