On 5,6 and 7 March 2018, girls of Std 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan visited Amul Fed Dairy, Bhat, Gandhinagar. This visit was aimed at giving them exposure to how a factory works - an international standard, large-scale factory.
Amul Fed Dairy located in Bhat is the largest dairy in Asia. It has giant processing units for milk packaging, cheese, butter, ice cream making etc.
The girls saw how the milk is packed, as per the quantity. It was a delight to see butter being processed and how it is packed as per the number of boxes. Girls also saw the ice-cream making process, different flavored milk, cheese, buttermilk, etc and its packaging units.
The scale and size of the units were beyond the imagination of the students and they were amused and pleasantly surprised by it. Huge machines, packing units, giant automized machinery were a beautiful thing to watch for all.
The girls were given ice-cream as the perfect way to end the visit.
