Empathy, opportunities, courage, support and prayers - These are some of the ways for empowering the Women of tomorrow at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan. With this spirit, International Women's Day was celebrated on 8th March 2017 here in presence of truly empowered women.
At the onset of the day, in assembly, the students narrated how Bhagwan Swaminarayan and BAPS have been torchbearers of women empowerment and education right from the 18th century.
The contemporary meaning of women empowerment was also reiterated and explained to students. On this occasion, Sejal Mehta (Editor, writer, and artist) was especially present. She addressed students and motivated them to excel in various walks of life.
