Competitions are an effective way of motivating students and providing them with feedback. They allow the participants manifest their latent potential extra-curricular activities. Students can think out-of-box, open their minds and come up with innovative ideas.
BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan had organized first Inter-house competition on 24th June, 2017 in which all the students had participated into various competitions with great enthusiasm. Students had exhibited their talent and caliber in various aspects. The results for these competitions were announced on 30th June, 2017.
Shri Udaybhai Desai and Smt. Hetalben Desai were present on this occasion. They have initiated the Project VIKAS which involves making quality education available in rural / tribal schools, to felicitate and encourage the students. The winners of the competitions were awarded with certificates by the esteemed guests.
A special program showcasing the values and significance of Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan was organized as a part of the special assembly.
Encouraging the students, Shri Udaybhai said, “Values are like diamonds. Preserve them them and they will be useful for your lifetime. Values are - understanding of what to do, not to do and when to do.” He added by saying that the values you attain here will be realized after 25 years when you would have settled in your lives. At the end, he urged students to have compassion towards all so that they can spread fragrance of well-being all over.
