India is land of festivals and colors. Holi is a festival celebrated with grand pomp across India. Even at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan the students celebrated their first holi togather. In morning an assembly was held for all studnets and they were made aware about the signifiance of Holi-Dhuleti and Pushpadol Utsav.
After watching few videos of traditional Fuldol Utsav held every year in Sarangpur, students themselves started playing holi. First the officials on campus applied gulaal and greeted them with flowers. Later all students shifted to central lawn where all were immersed in playing holi in water for 1 hour. Then they went back to their rooms and had a heartful siesta(afternoon sleep) after a special lunch.
