બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજની પ્રેરક પ્રસંગ-સ્મૃતિઓ
સાંજે સ્વામીશ્રી પત્રવાંચન કરી રહ્યા હતા એ દરમ્યાન અમેરિકા તથા કેનેડાના સંતો ગુણસાગર સ્વામી, અમૃતચરિત સ્વામી, અનુપમ સ્વામી, સ્નેહમુનિ સ્વામી અને પ્રિયેશમુનિ સ્વામી આવી પહોંચ્યા. સ્વામીશ્રી આ સૌને પ્રેમથી મળ્યા. અત્યારે અમેરિકા ને કેનેડામાં વિક્રમ સર્જક ઠંડી પડી રહી છે એ સમાચાર સંતોએ આપ્યા. એમાં અનુપમ સ્વામી કહે : ‘કેનેડામાં તો બહુ ઠંડી છે.’
સ્વામીશ્રી તરત જ કહે : ‘આત્માનું આવરણ ચડાવી દીધું હોય તો પછી ઠંડી પણ નહીં અને ગરમી પણ નહીં. દેહ માનીએ તો સુખદુઃખ આવે, પણ આત્મા માનીએ તો સુખ, સુખ ને સુખ.’

Maya Causes Misery and Happiness
"… Similarly, to those who are non-believers, mãyã causes attachment and intense misery, while to a devotee of God, that same mãyã is the cause of intense happiness. Also, the entities that have evolved out of mãyã - the indriyas and the antahkaran, and their presiding demigods - all support the bhakti of God. Therefore, for a devotee of God, mãyã is not a cause of misery; it is a source of great happiness."
