Weekly
Satsang Sabha
Weekly assemblies that provide a structured, peaceful escape from the fast paced, materialistic routine of daily life, allowing devotees to refocus on their spiritual goals. A typical Ravi Sabha lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and includes:
- Devotional Music (Kirtans & Bhajans): Singing devotional songs accompanied by traditional instruments to center the mind.
- Spiritual Discourses (Katha): Enlightening speeches delivered by BAPS Swamis (monks) or learned volunteers that bridge ancient Hindu scriptures with modern daily challenges.
- Multimedia & Presentations: Video screenings of divine incidents, global humanitarian activities, and spiritual guidance senior Swamis.
- Arti & Mahaprasad: The assembly concludes with a communal prayer (arti), followed by a free vegetarian meal (mahaprasad) that allows the community to network, bond, and support one another.
