In Isopanishad the significance of education is explained by the knowledge one attains enlightenment. The knowledge which liberates from ignorance and darkness and enlightens is true knowledge. Such knowledge is acquired through para and apara vidya. At a times when places where such vidyas are learnt are becoming rare, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha established institutions which sustain this legacy. With an aim to improve society through individual growth by fostering ideals of humanity, unity, selfless service, and self-sustenance, Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj started BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandirs. People of Valsad are fortunate to have one such BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir in their vicinity.                      

The BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Valsad has been established in 2006. The campus is spread over 33 acres and located only 5 km from Valsad city. This Boys only school, affiliated with Gujarat State Education Board, is imparting education in both Gujarati and English medium from Nursery to Std-12 in Science & Commerce stream to more than 2200 students. It also has residential facility for where 700 students reside.
