Satsang-related activities:
  1. Regular prayers: Daily morning and evening Aarti and prayers are performed and sung by students
  2. Daily assemblies: Assemblies are held every morning and evening wherein scholarly sadhus give inspirational talks on spiritual, moral, and educational topics. Students are constantly inspired to live an addiction-free and honest life
  3. Leadership training: Students learn leadership roles by conducting assemblies themselves, and by leading their groups in different sevas and activities
  4. Parents Meeting: Parents meetings are held monthly. Parents are regularly informed of their child’s educational and moral progress. Parents are also given guidance on how to raise children in a value-based environment
Cultural activities:
  1. Festivals: To develop cultural pride and devotion in students, festivals such as Shri Hari Jayanti, Janmãshtmi, Vasant Panchmi, Holi-Dhuleti, Rath Yãtrã, Guru Purnimã, etc. are organized throughout the year. Students learn the history and importance of these festivals through a variety of inspiring activities and programs
  2. Music Room: Talented students are taught various musical instruments and receive guidance for singing. This includes classical, semi-classical, bhajans and kirtans
  3. Cultural programmes: Cultural programmes are held wherein students perform dances, lectures, mono-acting, plays, shloka recitals, bhajans, etc.
  4. Austerities: During the holy month of Shrãvan, students voluntarily engage in austerities. Students thereby learn the importance of austerities and restraint in life
  5. Devotion: During the month of Shrãvan, students design and construct decorative Hindolã for God. Students also engage in Bãl Pãrãyan, wherein they prepare and deliver discourses on various scriptures
  6. National pride: On Jan 26 and Aug 15, students celebrate Independence Day and Republic Day with great enthusiasm
Seva:
  1. Daily sevã: In order to encourage students to serve one another, and become self reliant, all students are assigned daily sevã for 20 to 30 minutes daily. Sevã includes cleaning the school campus, student accommodation, washing one’s own dishes, kitchen utensils, serving food, preparing vegetables for cooking, cleaning toilets, etc.
  2. Self-reliance: Students also learn to be self-reliant by washing their own clothes, cleaning their own rooms and lockers and folding their own beddings, etc.
