With the blessings of Param pujya Pramukhswami Maharaj, the fifth spiritual successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, H.H. Mahantswami Maharaj (Sadhu Keshavjivandas) has inaugurated a school in 2006 for boys to provide quality education along with virtues in divine ambience in Bakrol, Vallabh Vidyanagar. The BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir - Bakrol is well equipped with all modern amenities and has a range of facilities required to create an atmosphere for holistic development of children. SVM Bakrol comprises Higher Secondary with science and commerce stream, secondary high school- Gujarati and English medium and Primary school in Gujarati and English medium. The school has a modern auditorium along with library, computer lab and science laboratory. It is affiliated with Gujarat State Education Board.
