Approximately 500 yajmans, seated around 66 kunds, participated in the grand Satsang Diksha Mahayagna held to commemorate the first anniversary of the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Smruti Mandir and as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanskrit Mahavidyalay.
The event commenced with a Palkhi Yatra of Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj. Then, after the Vedic mahapuja, the verses of the Satsang Diksha text were recited while the yagna participants, from India, Africa, the UK, and other countries, offered more than 50,000 ahutis. The rituals concluded with prayers for peace and prosperity in India and worldwide and a commemoration of India’s Republic Day.
