In July 2023, Shri Acharya Devvratji inaugurated the Mahantam Natural Agriculture Research Centre at BAPS Yagnapurush Natural Farming Farm in Sarangpur and encouraged the setup of a training venue for farmers from across the country to learn about natural farming.
For this purpose, Pramukh Swami Natural Agriculture Training Centre, a well-equipped training facility, was inaugurated at BAPS Yagnapurush Natural Farming Farm on 3 March 2024. As a result, in alignment with the Natural Agriculture Campaign championed by Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi and the Governor of Gujarat, farmers from Gujarat will now receiving training in natural agriculture.
The first training session was held in the presence of Jnaneshwar Swami, Kothari of BAPS Mandir, Sarangpur, and the virtual presence of the Governor of Gujarat. The first session was attended by officers from Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), farmers and other experts.
Addressing the farmers virtually, the governor emphasized that natural farming is essential for agricultural and farmer prosperity, and extended his gratitude to Jnaneshwar Swami, Brahmachintan Swami, and Divyanidhi Swami for their efforts in organizing this training.
