With Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s blessings, Mahant Swami Maharaj consecrated the BAPS Mandir in Mahuva on 17 February 2014.
The grand 10th anniversary celebrations were held in the presence of senior BAPS swamis.
On 16 February, yuvaks and yuvatis participated in a motorbike rally to proclaim the celebrations.
On 17 February, 150 swamis arrived from Sarangpur to participate in the celebrations.
On the afternoon of 18 February, a special Women’s Assembly was held in which women devotees presented cultural and spiritual performances.
From 18 to 21 February, Krishnapriya Swami conducted a parayan on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, and from 22 to 24 February, Janmangal Swami presented a parayan on the Shrimad Bhagvat.
On the evening of 25 February, children and youths of Bhavnagar presented a drama titled ‘ Mandirma Prabhu Biraje Chhe’ and the balaks of Mahuva performed a traditional dance celebrating the 10th anniversary. Thereafter, Jnanvatsal Swami addressed the audience on the topic of ‘My Life, A Happy Life’.
On the morning of 26 February, Somprakash Swami and other swamis performed the 17–kund (yagna altars) ‘Aksharbrahma-yag’ and then the Vedic rituals commemorating the tenth patotsav of the mandir.
