Over 630 yuvaks and yuvatis of Bhavnagar joined the one-week Yuva Shibir-Darshan Yatra organized to raise awareness of Sanatan Hindu Dharma among youths by the BAPS Mandir in Bhavnagar.
The yatra took the youths to BAPS mandirs and Hindu mandirs in Bochasan, Mahelav, Chansad, Vartal, Navsari, Nasik, Pune, Tithal and other places. The youths learnt the rich and meaningful traditions and history of each place, which helped them to better understand the role and relevance of mandirs in daily life. They also visited other holy sites of Sanatan Hindu Dharma to offer prayers and devotion.
In Nasik, a one-day shibir was held in the presence of Pujya Doctor Swami, based on the theme ‘Upasana, Niyam-Dharma and Vartan’. The shibir also featured speeches by experienced BAPS swamis, a question-answer session with Shri Dilipbhai Joshi, workshops, discussions, videos, skits and other activities to re-inforce the key messages of the shibir.
