Over 219,700 women, young and old, attended the annual Shravan month Mahila Parayans which were held in 3,888 mahila mandals throughout Gujarat and Mumbai.
The three-day parayans celebrated the upcoming Vachanamrut bicentenary by highlighting key messages revealed by Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the Vachanamrut.
Senior women, yuvatis and balikas presented skits, dances and discourses based on Vachanamruts Gadhada III 38, Loya 3 and Kariyani 9 to convey the concepts of Dedication, Observing the commands of God, the pre-eminence of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, the glory of association with and joy of attainment of God and guru.
