On the morning of 10 June 2018, the new BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, school for girls, was inaugurated to provide quality, value-based education of girls studying in the Lower Kindergarten up to Standard 12.
The auspicious mahapuja and inauguration was performed by Pujya Gnaneshwar Swami in the presence of other senior swamis, members of the Gondal Nagarpalika and other invited guests.
In the evening inauguration assembly, all who had contributed to the project were felicitated.
On 11 June 2018, the public dedication of the school was performed by Shrimati Gitaba Jayrajsinh Jadeja, MLA for Gondal, in the presence of women officials of the Gondal Nagarpalika and other dignitaries.
