More than 800 youths attended the launch of ‘Become Adarsh: Eni Rite Rit’ – a year-long spiritual development programme – held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Leicester (14 May 2016), BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Preston (15 May 2016), and in the presence of Sadguru Bhaktipriya Swami (Kothari Swami) on 28 May 2016 at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London. A launch event was also held in Paris on 31 May 2016.

The programme began with memories of the 2013 initiative, providing useful motivation and encouragement to the participants. Satyavrat Swami then elaborated on the concept of ‘adarsh’, an ideal spiritual aspirant, and urged all to reach higher and advance further along their personal spiritual journey.

Previous participants shared their own insights on the deeper spiritual fulfilment they now experienced having implemented the learnings and practices of ‘Become Adarsh’.

Paramseva Swami then explored the finer details of the project, outlining the various modules and the interactive and online resources available to registrants. His presentation also charted the speed of spiritual development against the rapid pace at which the world is changing, and highlighted ‘Become Adarsh’ as the tool to help accelerate inner progress.

A video presentation of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s blessings provided further powerful motivation and guidance. Anandpriya Swami thereafter spoke of Swamishri’s personal efforts to inaugurate the project in Sarangpur, India as well as the tireless work of volunteers to plan the details and prepare the materials.

Pujya Kothari Swami concluded by elucidating the merits of participating in such a project, reflecting upon the guidance and enthusiasm that Yogiji Maharaj provided to youths to expand their spiritual knowledge. He also stressed this as an ideal opportunity for youths to utilise their intellect and energies to gain Swamishri’s rajipo and find inner fulfilment.
