Around 180 youths attended the Yuvak-Yuvati Sammelan based on the theme The ‘Glory of India’ organized by the BAPS Sydney Mandir at Granville Youth Centre in the presence of BAPS sadhus. The event provided a deeper understanding of the rich values that have shaped India over the millennia and their relevance to modern youths, especially those of Indian origin. Through an eye-opening speech by Paramchintan Swami, the youths learnt about the many significant contributions made by India since the Vedic era to the world and the important role India has played in the development of the human race, both socially and spiritually. The event provided the youths an insight into the teachings of the Eastern wisdom.
