Bhagwan Swaminarayan had sanctified the region of Kutch when he travelled by boat from the port of Jodiya to the port of Mandvi in Kutch. In Mandvi, Shriji Maharaj convinced Khaiya Khatri of his divine form.

To celebrate the inauguration of Nagalpur's BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, a cultural programme was presented on 5 February. On 6 February, many devotees participated in the yagna for world peace and the nagar-yatra.
In Sarangpur, on 27 January 2015, Pramukh Swami Maharaj had performed the Vedic murti-pratishtha of the murtis, and on 7 February Pujya Mahant Swami ritually consecrated them in the new hari mandir.
