BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Lenasia, South Africa organised a 3 day long karyakar shibir entitled 'Kartavya' from 3rd till 5th May, 2013.
A select group of 150 karyakars from 11 BAPS satsang centres across South Africa and Zambia attended the event. The shibir was conducted by sadhus from BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Nairobi, Kenya. The shibir consisted of various activities like presentations and workshops aimed at providing an understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a karyakar and to better equip them for their particular area of seva. The karyakars also gained guidance from sadhus on how to achieve spiritual goals while fulfilling family and career responsibilities.
