To commemorate the 62nd Pramukh Varni Din, sadhus pilgrimaged by foot from the BAPS Mandir in Shahibaug to the sacred Ambli Vali Pol Mandir. Shastriji Maharaj had appointed the young Shastri Narayanswarupdas as the 'Pramukh' of the Sanstha in this mandir, on 21 May 1950.
At the Ambli Vali Pol mandir, prayers were offered for Swamishri’s good health, and peace and prosperity in society. Throughout the day, over 17,000 devotees from suburbs throughout Ahmedabad also pilgrimaged by foot to Ambli Vali Pol to offer their devotion and prayers.
