The Swaminarayan Mahamantra Dwishatabdi celebrations took place on January 6, 2002 at the Toronto BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir. The colorful stage with Maharaj's divine murti along with the mantra 'Swaminarayan...Swaminarayan' displayed on the wall provided a splendid backdrop for an indeed splendid samaiyo. The program was interspersed with pravachans, dramas and kirtans. Some pravachans provided a glimpse of the life of Lord Swaminarayan and the socio-spiritual service that He and His paramhansas provided for the society, while others provided us with the glory of the Swaminarayan Mahamantra and the grandeur of this mantra. The brief impressive dramas portrayed the supremacy and the superiority of the mahamantra through the stories of Naja Jogiya and other such individuals. An impressive video darshan on Swamishri's relentless efforts in spreading the glory of the mahamantra left the audience with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude towards the guruparampara and Lord Swaminarayan for blessing us with this mahamantra.
