Following the teachings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj to build strong families, an afternoon of sports, games and food with family and friends was arranged at the Swaminarayan Mandir & Cultural Complex site in Bartlett, IL. Family Fun Day was based on six principles for family peace and harmony: unity, trust, understanding, forgiveness, respect and love. Family interaction was encouraged through games wherein all young and old joined in without any hesitation.
