Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan celebrated Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s birthday on
20th Dec’23. The celebration began with Pramukh Ashtakam followed by a kirtan, Joi Murti Manohar Tari.
It was followed by a skit recalling Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s seva in Amrut Mahotsav. It also highlighted the obligation of Pramukh Swami Maharaj towards his Guru Shastriji Maharaj. It was followed by a Video Darshan with the theme ‘Mara Guru, Mara Adarsh’. It showed how he created time and used every bit of it wisely.
This was followed by a speech by Devanshi mam. In her speech she listed all the attributes of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, how committed he was towards sanstha and his guru. She cited some examples from his life to show how humble and down to earth he was. Towards the conclusion of her speech, she asked all the students to introspect and analyse how they can use their time wisely & excel in every area of their life.
Our Campus Director, Dr. Neeta Shah was invited on the stage to address the students. She acknowledged the contribution of all the students in Suvarna and motivated everyone to study. She also felicitated the students who overcame all the physical and mental challenges during PSM 100. Some students were called on the stage to share their experience of performing and seva in PSM 100. All these students learnt their life lessons from PSM 100 like tolerance, confidence, overcoming fear & SAMP.
The most fascinating part of the celebration was the performance of the students on The Sea of Suvarna. The students relived all the memories. The celebration concluded with Pushpanjali.
