A 10-day long ‘Guruhari Parv’ to commemorate the virtues and teachings of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj on the occasion of Mahant Swami Maharaj Janmajayanti was organised at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan, from 07th September, 2022. Students of class 11 and 12 had participated on each day and presented on a different theme - doctrine of tolerance, demeriting - meriting the virtuous human being, unity, cordiality, obedience towards Guru’s wishes, pleasing Maharaj and Swami, etc.
On 17 September 2022. The Assembly started with a conversation by Std 6 students who invited everyone to celebrate Mahant Swami Maharaj birthday celebration. Students carried a palanquin of Bhagwaan Swaminarayan. A group of students sang Mahant Ashtakam.It was followed by an introduction to Mahant Swami Maharaj as our 6th Guru and acknowledged him as beloved of Yogiji maharaj and Pramukh Swami maharaj. A group of students presented a dance on ‘Aksharam Aham Purushottam Dasosmi’.
The second part of the program started with a game based on the keywords of aarti given by Mahant Swami Maharaj. Two teams were selected who had to narrate incidents related to the following words.

A video of ‘Keshav Smruti’ was shown to everyone. It was followed by a skit which highlighted the importance of Guru, Sadhuta & Katha Varta based on Vachanamrut. A video on ‘Aksharbrahma Vadhamana’ was shown to everyone.
The third part of the programme started with felicitation of the students who have inculcated and imbibed the principles in their life as per Satsang Diksha Granth such as regular puja, no food and water without puja, Ekadashi vrat. It was followed by a dance on ‘Raji Karie Raji Karie’. Also a video of Mahant Swami Maharaj’s birthday celebration in Nenpur was shown. The program ended with Aarti. All the teachers and our campus Director Dr. Neeta Shah was invited on the stage for Aarti.
With the blessings and teachings of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, the students offered their reverence and embraced their fortune of having gained the association of Satpurush.
