General Stream Career Counselling
A career counselling program was organised at Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan on 6th Oct’22 for higher secondary students. The program was conducted by Mr. Dushyant Dave, Manager, School of Liberal Studies · Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhi Nagar in coordination with our counsellor Dr. Shraddha Acharya.
The session started with a small video on introduction to PDPU college and various programmes and courses offered. It was followed by interaction with the students and discussion on the various courses offered. Some of the key areas that were discussed were Digital Education, Memory Surgeon, Medical Travel Facilitation, Capacity Building and International Exposure.
He also highlighted the importance of humanities in all human activities be it economical or non economical. He gave a few examples of one can go for BBA in Finance if one wants to get into crypto and e- trading. Students were introduced to some of the courses for liberal arts.
He motivated the students to be confident and communicative in life. He also asked them to work on their skills.Besides, hard work, time management and focus on the line opted are important aspects to be taken care of.All the students were highly motivated.The session ended with a question and answer session.
Science Stream Career Counselling

The program was conducted by Mr. Amit Sant, Associate Professor, Electrical, School of Technology and · Sciences, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhi Nagar in coordination with our counsellor Dr. Shraddha Acharya.
The session started with a presentation which highlighted the careers available for Science A group students. Some of them were Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer and Software Engineer. It was followed by a discussion on what is the eligibility in order to pursue these careers which included good marks in BOARDS, JEE & GUJCET, Bachelors and Masters Degree.
Students were introduced to various courses offered by PDPU which included Rural Internships, Practical based projects, Industrial Internship etc. It also offers domestic and international research trips. They also guided the students on what is the criteria based on which they can select their college.The session ended with a question and answer session.
