On 8th march, 2020 BAPS Swaminarayan Vidhyamandir celebrated International Women’s Day to celebrate the achievements and roles of women in different fields in the presence of chief guest invited on this wonderful day - Dr. Ulupi Rathod along with Mr. Mayur Rathod.
The celebration started with the prayer followed by the skit prepared by 8th standard manifesting the strong roles of women in diverse fields as well as a homemakers. The skit focused on the central idea of how women have to pass through innumerable tough times and challenges in her life to chase and attain her dreams. Thus , they should never ever give up was the message. Our respectable Neeta Ma’am and Bharat Sir welcomed our guest with bouquets . A speech was given by Sir were he described the achievements of Mrs. Rathod such as being a rankholder in NCC Army, been a Phd English Literature and a senior lecturer.
After his speech the stage was offered to our guest to throw more light on this important day.Our chief guest Dr. Ulupi Rathod- a lady in uniform gave a speech on how we as women are multitaskers and successful in every work we choose to do. She simultaneously showed us powerpoint presentation on the efforts and consistent hardwork; alongwith vision, need to before NCC officer. A feeling of pride and self attainment is felt in the field of army officer according to her. She motivated the girls to be the warriors and heroes in their real life to evolve as achievers. She also gave information about various NCC examination held at school levels. After that, students of 8th standard showed the video and powerpoint presentation on the achievements of our students in various competitive events. Then the students ask her various questions which she patiently answered to inspire them for their future and solve any doubts.
At last, our beloved Neeta Ma’am gave vote of thanks to our guests and also requested Dr. U.S Rathod to sing a song for the students. The entire celebration had ended with the lovely song sung by her and applauded by the audience.
