We believe in maintaining love and respect between parents and children. When communication breaks down, BAPS offers counseling to frustrated parents and children conducted by Children Activity Coordinators and sadhus. The coordinators mediate the situation with a neutral, third party perspective. Parents are encouraged to respect their children’s intelligence and feed their curiosity with opportunities and answers. Children are taught to communicate with their parents, respect them, and comply with the rules and guidelines they set. Pramukh Swami Maharaj annually spends hundreds of hours personally advising parents and children to mend their differences. BAPS aims to resolve the strife contributing to the generation and cultural gap between parents and their children.
