The Yogi Jayanti celebration was held beneath the newly inaugurated mandir dome. In his blessings Swamishri said, "Yogiji Maharaj's virtues and glory were extraordinary. Those who have received his pat (dhabbo) never forget it … Such was his divine state."

26 May 2001 (V.S. 2057, Jeth Sud 4) Saturday, Sankari, Navsari
o In the past few days a cyclone was brewing up in the Arabian sea. It was heading towards the state of Gujarat at a speed of 180 kmph. The weathermen forecasted a catastrophe of monstrous proportion.
During the camp, Swamishri informed the sadhus and karyakars, " There is a forecast of a cyclone heading towards Gujarat. At present it is in the sea. Let us offer prayers so that it dissolves and fizzles out in the sea."
For the next two days, Swamishri offered prayers by chanting the Dhun. And the cyclone died down.
o This evening, Swamishri's 51st Pramukh Varni Din (anniversary of Swamishri's presidentship of BAPS) was celebrated at the Navsari Mandir. A drama 'Guru Roon Adaa Kem Kariye' by balaks and kishores reflected the indebtedness we owe to Swamishri. The presentation was laced with a graceful dance and arti in its concluding part. More than 4,500 devotees had assembled for the celebration. Finally Swamishri blessed the occasion, saying, " Whatever progress and growth we see of this Sanstha is due to the power and glory of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, Shastriji Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj. Things do not happen out of our wish and effort. Whatever we start remains incomplete mid-way. But the work initiated by God, Shastriji Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj keeps on progressing. We are what we are because of those holy people.
" It is because of man's ego that he feels 'I have done this.' However, even the mighty Ravan could not accomplish his works…." Swamishri then elaborated upon the
power and all-doership of God."

31 May 2001 (V.S. 2057, Jeth Sud 9) Thursday, Surat, Kishore Day

Finally Swamishri blessed the assembly.
