30 April 2001 (V.S.2057, Chaitra Sud ) Monday, Mumbai
This morning and afternoon Swamishri was engaged in the earthquake rehabilitation meeting.
In the evening assembly the kishores performed a drama, "Satsang no Khap', showing the resolute faith of Anandji Sanghedia in spite of insult and dishonor heaped on him.
Swamishri emphasized the point on personal Satsang, saying, " ... If we have not anchored ourselves to Satsang and failed to understand its glory then we will appreciate Satsang when we are honored and provided with all arrangements; but on the slightest insult we immediately give up Satsang. One stops coming altogether.
" ... Even after having understood that this a God-communion Sadhu, one regresses in a trifle matter. At home one does not feel bad despite the rebuke by one's father, mother, wife or sister. Because of one's deep attachment for one's relatives one does not feel bitter when they say something. And when such a Sadhu says something, one feels hurt. However, if one has the same affection for the Sadhu that one has for one's relatives one will not leave Satsang. If one has glory for Satsang then one will have no problems and will remain happy in all ways."
