At 10.35 am Swamishri visited Akshar Vadi site for the BAPS Cattle Camp project.
Swamishri also visited the dry Veri lake that had been excavated of silt by the local Municipality and NGOs like BAPS. Swamishri sanctified the land by showering holy flowers.

Swamishri performed puja and arti of Nilkanth Mahadev in Veraval (Sapar).
Blessed an assembly in village Moti Vavdi of Rajkot district.
6 January 2001: (V.S. 2057, Posh Sud 11) Thursday, Rajkot, Kishore Day
Slated as Kishore Day, the evening assembly saw three dramas that showed death as being auspicious, steadfastness in one's vow and horizons of faith. The kishores held a 'niyam-tula' where they honored Lord Harikrishna Maharaj by weighing Him against their moral pledges. Finally Swamishri blessed the assembly.
7 January 2001: (V.S. 2057, Posh Sud 12) Sunday, Rajkot
Swamishri was honored by the Mayor of Rajkot, Shri Ashokbhai Dangar, with the title of 'Sant Shiromani' and the 'The Best Citizen Award'.
Lord Harikrishna Maharaj was honored by a devotee.
A week prior to the Joli utsav, a symbolic Joli utsav was held in the presence of Swamishri. Swamishri pulled the kite-string to the rejoicement of devotees.
9 January 2001: (V.S. 2057, Posh Sud 15) Tuesday, Bhadra, Poshi Punam
Swamishri blessed a kishore who had prostrated (dandvat-yatra) his way from Dhrol to Bhadra, performing 4,855 prostrations.
Swamishri visited the holy banyan tree and farm sanctified by Mulji Sharma, and prayed for rain.
In the morning, Gunatitanand Swami's diksha anniversary assembly was held, wherein the saintliness of Gunatitanand Swami and his glory as Akshar was sung.
From 12 midnight to 3.30 am Swamishri, sadhus and devotees were engaged in devotion during the lunar eclipse.

Lord Harikrishna Maharaj was honored by the devotees.
14 January 2001: (V.S. 2057, Posh Vad 5) Sunday, Jamnagar, Makarsankrantia
Swamishri celebrated Joli utsav (see special report).
Swamishri was honored by the city Municipality and a citation was presented by the Deputy Mayor Shri Dinesh Patel.
15 January 2001: (V.S. 2057, Posh Vad 6) Monday, Jamnagar, Muli, Surendranagar
At 4.45 pm Swamishri departed from Jamnagar and arrived in Muli and after darshan of Thakorji departed for Surendranagar, arriving at the Swaminarayan mandir at 9.00 pm.
