A total of around 165 balaks and balikas from Dar-es-Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha and Tanga attended the five-day shibir held at the White Sands Hotel and Resort in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania in presence of swamis from Nairobi.
Based on the theme ‘Asmita’, the shibir guided the children on spiritual and cultural values through topics such as Pride for God, Pride for Satpurush, Pride for Siddhant, Pride for Shastras and Pride for Satsang. They also learnt about tilak-chandlo, daily personal puja, diet, arti and panchang pranam to parents. The shibir featured speeches by the swamis, group discussions, skits, question-answer sessions, workshops, team building activities, audio-visual presentations and a cultural exhibition, providing insightful and practical guidance for the children to apply in their daily life.
