India’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs General (Retd.) Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh visited the BAPS Mandir in Bahrain with an accompanying delegation that included the Indian Ambassador in Bahrain, H.E. Alok Kumar Sinha.
First, the delegation watched with great interest a slide show depicting the activities of BAPS globally and in Bahrain. Thereafter, Dr. Singh performed the abhishek of Shri Nilkanth Varni Maharaj, offering prayers with great devotion.
In the assembly, Dr. V.K. Singh was welcomed with a garland, and honored with a shawl and memento. He gave a very inspiring speech in which he praised the virtues and work of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, in particular Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi.
Dr. V.K. Singh and his delegation were deeply touched by the divinity they experienced during their visit.
