In a celebratory evening charged with love, inspiration, and tremendous joy, community leaders, devotees, and well-wishers alike filled the seats of the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas on August 20, 2017, to welcome His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.
Centered on the theme of Shriji Maharajna Pagle Pagle, the program consisted of skits, dialogues, speeches, and videos reflecting upon how Swamishri had an everlasting impact on their lives. During this event Congressman Pete Sessions emphasized, “What we’re witnessing tonight is not just an expression of faith and confidence in each and every one of us, it’s actually a prayer for our world.” Other dignitaries in attendance included Matt Rinaldi, Texas State Representative, and Rick Stopfer, Mayor of the City of Irving, who also presented various tokens of appreciation to Mahant Swami Maharaj.
In his concluding blessings to the assembly, Mahant Swami Maharaj emphasized to the attendees to live value-centric lives filled with spirituality and faith in God as well as maintaining respect and samp (togetherness) within our families and communities.
