The UK National Sanyukta Mandal Shibir, entitled ‘Je Je Hari e Karyu Het’, was held in the presence of Sadguru Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami on Sunday 10 September 2016 at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London.
More than 1,500 devotees from across the country gathered for an insightful journey that explored Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s unconditional and universal love. Many of the senior delegates present have experienced this love first-hand, particularly during Swamishri’s 19 visits to the UK.
Ishwarcharan Swami elaborated upon the spiritual love that the Satpurush has for his disciples and how this understanding will yield the highest level of happiness in one’s life. He also alluded to his own spiritual connection with Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Yogvivek Swami also addressed the assembly and reflected upon Swamishri’s tireless dedication to serve and guide others on the path of spirituality.
Other sadhus shared their life-changing experiences of Swamishri’s care and compassion in an emotive session after the lunch break. The heart-warming testimonies provided an insightful glimpse into Swamishri’s special bond with them. Devotees also spoke of the effects of Swamishri's love in fostering family unity, helping relinquish addictions, and instilling faith in God. This was enhanced with several inspiring video presentations of Swamishri throughout the day.
Ishwarcharan Swami brought together the key messages and teachings in his concluding speech. In particular, he emphasised that the path of spiritual enlightenment continues through the guidance of the manifest Satpurush.
Participants departed the shibir thoroughly energised from their cherished memories of Swamishri.
