In the presence of Pujya Swayamprakash Swami (Pujya Doctor Swami) and other sadhus, the Murti-Pratishtha Mahotsav of the new BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Vasna (Ras) in Borsad taluka of Gujarat, took place on December 14, 2015.
Over 400 yajman couples participated in the Vishwa Shanti Mahayagna for world peace on December 13, 2015. This was followed by a nagar yatra in which hundreds of devotees took part.
The pratishtha rituals of the murtis, to be installed in the Vasna Mandir, had previously been performed by Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Sarangpur. These murtis were consecrated in their respective shrines by Pujya Doctor Swami to the chanting of Vedic verses. Devotees and local well-wishers attended this auspicious occasion to convey their best wishes for the Mandir. Pujya Doctor Swami blessed all those present in the felicitation assembly.
