A two-day Kishore-Kishori Mandal shibir was organised for youths visiting the UK from various countries in mainland Europe.

The shibir was held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London over the weekend of 22-23 August 2015 in the presence of Sadguru Pujya Mahant Swami (Keshavjivan Swami), Sadguru Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami, Pujya Atmaswarup Swami, and visiting sadhus from India.

Themed around the topics of ‘Niyam, Nishchay, Paksh’, the shibir began with Mahant Swami and Ishwarcharan Swami addressing the gathering about the importance of spiritual observances and faith as well as developing a deeper spiritual understanding of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

Drawing from the Vachanamrut and the gurus’ teachings, sadhus then explored various concepts of spirituality over the two days and offered practical guidance on applying these principles in daily living.

During the evenings, the youths joined thousands of devotees in the main assembly hall to witness the 20th anniversary finale celebrations of London Mandir.

The delegates departed from London with renewed motivation to excel in their personal spiritual journeys and with stronger unity among themselves.

Prior to the shibir, the group spent three days at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Leicester where they enjoyed further spiritual nourishment in the form of discussions and group activities. They also ventured to other parts of the UK for various outdoor pursuits.
