In celebration of the 94th birthday of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, devotees gathered for festivities at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandirs across North America. Portraying the theme of "Karu Vandana”, the program aptly conveyed the devotees’ sentiments of devotion through lively skits, bhajans, and video presentations from senior Swamis. Throughout the program, attendees absorbed the concepts of Brāhmisthiti, Vicharan, Lābh, and Karunā.
Elements of the program evoked the cherished memories of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s visit to Robbinsville, New Jersey this past summer. While reliving the memories of those precious moments filled with peace and joy, devotees were able to appreciate the effort and sacrifice that their guru made to make the journey to North America. Attendees left with a deeper appreciation of the qualities of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and resolved to follow in his footsteps and imbibe similar characteristics in their own lives.
