In 2000, Pramukh Swami Maharaj inaugurated a new mandir in Fall River, MA, for the devotees living in the southern part of the Greater Boston area. Since then, satsang has seen a steady rate of growth every year.

In order to accommodate future growth of satsang, a new mandir has been consecrated for the devotees of South Boston. The auspicious occasion of Murti Pratishtha was marked on Sunday September 7, 2014 in the presence of Sadguru Pujya Mahant Swami, visiting Swamis from India, and Swamis from the northeast America. The new mandir is located in a town called Sharon, MA.

Through the blessings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the mandir has been graced with the murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Gunatitanand Swami, Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shri Sita-Ram, Shri Shiv-Parvati, Shri Hanumanji, Shri Ganeshji, and Shri Nilkanth Varni. Devotees and well-wishers from Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey attended this joyous occasion.

On the evening of the Murti-Pratishtha a special satsang sabha was held to appreciate the haribhaktos who had dedicated their time and effort in getting the new mandir ready for this joyous occation. In this sabha, Pujya Mahant Swami spoke on the importance of samp, seva and mahima.

BAPS South Boston flourishes in satsang activities and continues to offer its spiritual and community services to its surrounding neighbors.
