BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Sydney, celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami on Sunday 25 August 2013 in the presence of Adarshjivan Swami and Jnanpurush Swami.
Festivities included discourses, devotional bhajans, folk dances, and the janmotsav arti.
The celebration coincided with a week-long Shrimad Bhagavat Parayan delivered by Adarshjivan Swami on Shri Krishna’s life and messages.
Learned BAPS sadhus continue to travel across the Asia Pacific region during the auspicious month of Shravan to conduct many such parayans and celebrate Hindu festivals in the spirit of devotion.
