The Balika Mandal at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Ahmedabad, held a parayan on 24 September. With this year's theme titled 'The Toys World,' the stage was decorated with toys and playthings to make the parayan a fun occassion.
The beginning prayer was followed by a welcome dance and then a drama performance. Brief speeches were interspersed with more dramas and dances, to keep the program entertaining for the balikas. A balika spoke about the basis for our scriptures and cited practical examples from them, to be followed in everyday life.
The balikas and parents were pleased with the parayan and learned more about incorporating satsang values from a young age into their lives.
